Our Plot: A Summary The Realm of the Blood is set in a time period of after Witch ruled. Jaenelle lived into her nineties, dying in her sleep at the age of ninety-seven. We're set seventy-five thousand years after her death, while the Blood are still recovering from her magic, which had cleansed them of Dorothea and Heketah's taint. Perhaps the most noteable thing is that the Eyriens and Dea al Mon are fighting consistent battles amongst each other in order to control land and protect their people- as a result of Daemon wiping out most of the Dea al Mon, the people of this race are limited and most often mix-raced with other races, including the Scelt and Dhemlans. The landens are moving in on Dea al Mon territory, claiming the land for themselves, since the Blood are in such a weakened state. The Dark Council, the power that supported Dorothea and Heketah, are rising again in Little Terrielle. Whose side will you be on; what war will you wage?
