TALIA HANNELORE SOTHALE
Name: Talia Hannelore Sothale
Gender: Female
Age: 29
Race: Dea al Mon
Caste: Witch
Jewels: Red>Grey
Weapon(s): (if applicable): A modified bow and arrow that she started crafting as a teenager. As her skills improved, Talia added to her bow to make sure it shot straighter and stronger than the typical bow. She crafts her arrows herself, tipping some of them in a deadly neurotoxin that she does not treat lightly. She was taught by her mother how to safely handle and store the toxin. When she needs to use them, Talia means business. She also trained rigorously enough in hand-to-hand combat and combat with basic weapons.
Ability/abilities:Talia’s ability in the Craft is pretty solid given the status of her Jewels. She dedicated herself heavily to learning how to control her Craft easily and without much strain. Since she is strict on herself to keep in top physical shape, she was just as brutal when gaining control of her Jewels. For Talia, there is always room for improvement.
Personality:Talia is not a dainty little girl by any means. She grew up with three older brothers and so quickly learned the best ways to defend herself against their rough-housing. Actually, she ended up surpassing all three of them and they grew tired of being shoved into the dirt fast. She doesn’t take well to being condescended, however her temper isn’t explosive. Talia has a very icy quality about her that makes her rage even more terrifying. God help the poor fool who treats her badly. She has been a go-getter since early childhood, when she strived to be better than her brothers. Call it a naturally competitive streak. Talia isn’t frivolous about it either. When she commits to something, she puts her whole mind to it until she succeeds. But don’t let that deter you; as long as you don’t treat her badly, Talia is a fierce and loyal friend.
History: Talia doesn’t have some dark past that haunts her. Rather, she was brought up in a tough, but no more extraordinary house than most. She was expected to do just as well, if not better, than her brothers in school and there was no special treatment from her parents. The Sothales were not the most affectionate family, but she never felt unloved by them. Her enthusiasm for the Craft and for physical combat training was eagerly supported by her father, who acted as a coach until Talia’s skills surpassed his. By the time she was twenty-five, she could easily beat him without breaking much of a sweat. Talia never did have many close friends, since she dedicated her time to learning and training. She was the type of child that was good at being alone and that remains true as an adult. She isn’t dependent on anyone but herself and she intends to keep it that way.
