The End of the SaDiablo Family
It's seventy-five thousand years after Witch destroyed the Blood. She took out over two-thirds of the Blood's original population when she cast that spell. The Dark Court- Jaenelle Angelline's court- dissipated after she made her return to Kaeleer, not as Witch, and not as Queen, but as Jaenelle Angelline once more. Some time after Jaenelle's death, her Steward of the Court, Saetan SaDiablo, stopped drinking the blood-wine, yarbarah, and faded into the Darkness.
However, Daemon SaDiablo, Witch's husband, moved on after her death and found another wife in his long-time friend, Surreal. They became married and had a daughter named Jaenelle Satien, who wore the Twilight's Dawn after having her Birthright Ceremony. Jaenelle Satien and Surreal both died bloody deaths. Surreal and Jaenelle Satien had gone into the shopping district, seeking out pretty cloths to decorate for Winsol, but were killed by an angry Blood witch from Little Terrielle. This witch's whole family had been killed, except her, during the cleansing of the Blood, and she was upset by Surreal's involvement with Witch's destruction. The two females, Surreal a grown woman and Jaenelle just barely fifteen, were slaughtered with their hearts taken out, and Daemon found their bodies. This caused Daemon to retreat and disappear from everyone he loved, awaiting Witch in the Keep. When Daemon finally succumbed to death, he was visited by Witch, Surreal, and Jaenelle Saetien, all demanding that he protect his body and make the translation into Guardian. Witch allowed Surreal and Jaenelle Satien to fade into the Darkness and spoke to her Consort one last time. "Await the next Witch. I can only guide her so much, my stubborn, snarly male. Preserve your body, so you might see Witch again." Daemon continued to rule the Dhemlan territory and the Keep, overseeing any needs that Draca, Lorn, and the librarian, Geoffrey, had.
Lucivar Yaslana, Daemon's half brother, lived a life with his wife, Marian, alongside his three children, Daemonar, Titian and Andulvar II. Lucivar never retreated from the Eyrien warrior's way and continued to support his Queen until her death. After Jaenelle died, he moved away from the Keep in EbonAskavi and lived in an eyrie with his family. Daemonar, who wore the Opal, his Warlord Prince son, served a Queen named Orian, and died fighting a battle to protect her eyrie. He made the transition to demon-dead without realizing it and continued to wage his war, just as his great-uncle, Andulvar, and great-cousin, Prothvar, once had. Once he realized he was dead, he entered Hell and met Daemon, who was still a Guardian at the time, and settled in to wait beside his uncle. The entire SaDiablo family was devastated to hear of Daemonar's death; however, they were proud that he died serving his Queen, as any Warlord Prince would have. After Daemonar's death was Marian's- she was found dead in a gutter in a landen village, killed by a fellow Blood. She had dedicated herself to helping the landens, erasing the idea that Blood and landen could not live side by side. As a hearth-witch, she was good at helping around the house; cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry for the landens passed the time and numbed the grief of losing her child. Lucivar and Marian's daughter, Titian, was a gifted Healer and often visited landen villages with her mother to help heal the landens of their illnesses- be they scratches, deep wounds, or simply troubled thoughts, Titian Yaslana was always a comforting shoulder for landens to lean on. During one of these visits, the two women were killed by a poisoned dagger, one that only a Blood could Craft and shield well enough for them to not notice until their dying breath. Unfortunately, Lucivar never found out who killed his women and was wrought with grief and agony over losing his wife, children, and brother. Andulvar Yaslana the II, another Warlord Prince, wore the Green. He was visiting the Keep because Lorn had sent for him; he didn't understand what the Prince of the Dragons wanted, but Andulvar is not one to refuse Lorn's summons, as no one is. Lorn had summoned him to warn him that the entire Yaslana and SaDiablo bloodline was close to being wiped out completely. On the night of his father's death, Andulvar was trapped at the Keep, as Lorn made a last effort to preserve the bloodline. However, Andulvar is a Warlord Prince, and he will fight with his dying breath. Andulvar sends a shot of Green power to Lorn in an effort to distract the dragon enough to make his escape. Due to the conditions of Lorn's scales, the power backfires and lashes into Andulver's chest. As such, he dies by his own hand and makes the transition into demon-dead, awaiting his father, as Lorn spoke to him one last time before his head. Your father will die in three days' time. Await him, and reserve your strength for when he comes to you. Three days later, as Lorn had said, Lucivar went out for a drink, mourning the family he'd lost. Everyone- everyone Lucivar had ever loved- was gone. His brother; his wife; his sons and daughter; his brother's lovely wife. He was in the Dea al Mon territory, since he still had friends there and they enjoyed keeping his company. However, when he received his first beer, Lucivar never probed it for poisons or any other sign of tampering. So as he began the first of his hopefully many drinks, witchblood coursed through his veins and poisoned him. He summoned his Guardian brother, Daemon, and begged his assistance. Daemon was halfway through successfully withdrawing the poison when Lucivar's last ragged breath rung out through the bar. However, Lucivar made the transition to demon-dead and sits in Hell with his brother, waiting for Witch to return.
Triggered into a rage of slaughter, Daemon wiped out almost all the Dea al Mon. He sealed the territory in a Black shield, hiding the destruction for a time, but the Black shield eventually wore off and everyone could see the slaughter that the Dea al Mon had barely survived. Trees, buildings, and people had been burned to a crisp by Black-fueled witchfire, some small sparks still flying in the air. This caused the Dea al Mon to go even deeper into hiding, flocking close to the borders of their territory for greater protection from the other Territories in Kaeleer. Everyone feared Daemon's name once more, and again an outcast, the Black-Jeweled Warlord Prince tucked himself into Hell, awaiting the return of Witch.
