The Woods
Description
Nikita's woods are generally described as being relatively peaceful. The Dea al Mon are known for living in wooded areas and making the most of their surroundings. In some of the stronger, more virile trees, Nikita has small outposts set up so she can look out for coming people and welcome them- or kill them. Tread carefully, stranger.
External of "The Treehouse"
Description
The Treehouse, externally, is a beautiful wood-built home set high in the trees. It's shielded with Purple Dusk and is Nikita's safe haven. This is also where she brings people she encounters who are still struggling with the after-affects of Witch wiping out most of the Blood and leaving the rest broken back to basic Craft, essentially broken. It has high cathedral-esque ceilings and has large front-facing windows, as well as a small personal balcony in the back for her room.
The Kitchen- kitchen image, eating nook
Description
The kitchen is mostly where Nikita "works". She's a Healer; she's busy making healing brews, tending to her own needs, and healing others if she can. There's a comfortable island sitting area, and it's equipped with plenty of modern amenities including a stove and oven. As a Healer, she enjoys creating brews and Craft that she can use to help other people; as such, the countertops are wide, the sink is deep, and it's connected to a comfortable seating/eating area. She doesn't have a formal dining area, as she never saw one as necessary, and generally uses the kitchen in her everyday life.
The Living Room- the sitting area, the loft
Description
The living-room is perhaps the smallest and most landen-influenced area in Nikita's home. She didn't think of having company when she first built the Treehouse and as such, didn't intend for people to be there with her. The living-room is divided into two areas. The first area is where most people go to sit, rest, and drink healing brews. The second is the loft-area, where it has a full queen-sized bed waiting for any guest that needs it. However, many times, Nikita has been found sleeping there, as there are large windows that gaze into the treetops and into the sky. She finds it peaceful there and has made it her adoptive personal room.
The Nook
Description
The nook, though small, is a very comfortable place to sit. There's a reading area with pillows and comfortable seating, equipped with many books on healing Craft, as well as some on the lore of the Blood. There are also books for female and male enjoyment, as they go into the specifics of Court, relationships, and the possible integration of half-Blood or landens into the Blood society. Nikita is generally a philosopher and thinks a lot about her general society and the way she was raised as a Dea al Mon witch, growing into a Healer. Though she only wears the Purple Dusk, she holds a relative amount of power in comparison to most and isn't afraid to use that power to gain knowledge. As such, she's known to visit the Keep or even go to see Hakaisha Shoku in EbonRih, enjoying reading up on the selected topics and gaining more knowledge.
Nikita's Room
Description
Nikita's room can be described as nothing less than cozy. She used the available loft-esque space to create a unique bedding situation. She has two beds side-by-side and set them against the windowsill, creating a cozy sleeping nook. She had a tradesman make her round globes made of colored glass and lights candles each night before she goes to sleep. There's also open floorspace for anything she needs. A dresser, unseen, is set against the wall and holds extra pillows and blankets in case she has too many guests to host in her room, the loft, and in the living-room seating area. She generally uses the room for her moontime and when she needs extra rest, but also prefers sleeping in the loft since she can see the stars above her.
Nikita's Bathroom
Description
The only bathroom in the house is the one that Nikita built beside the kitchen. Though it's an odd placement for such a thing, she decided it was more friendly to guests, even though she doesn't have them often. Nikita ensured that it was comfortable but not so small as to distract from the other comfortable places, and decided that a clean, functional look was optimal. The ceiling has skylights and that provides the light you need during the day; at night, she uses witchfire to light her way.
The Balcony- balcony image, windchimes
Description
The balcony is definitely Nikita's most favorite place to relax. She built it herself and painted the wood white, to stand out from the natural wood color of her home. She decorated it with a small, though functional,
seating/storage area, a table, and lots of natural plants she tends herself. She also decorated this place with windchimes made from the same man who crafted her balls of glass in her room.
